ICC World Cup 2019: Rishabh Pant to fly out as standby for Shikhar Dhawan

The Times of India reports:
MUMBAI: Delhi's young wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant is all set to fly to England on Wednesday. Sources confirmed that Pant will be reaching England as a back-up for the Indian team, while the recovering Shikhar Dhawan will continue to be part of the 15-member squad. "Rishabh is just being called here in advance as standby so that he can acclimatise. If Dhawan can't continue, we'll seek an official go ahead from ICC for replacement and he (Rishabh) can immediately join the team," sources in the know said.
