Jet Airways flight suffers engine failure at 36000 feet, makes safe emergency landing at Indore

The Times of India reports:
NEW DELHI: A Jet Airways aircraft operating on Hyderabad-Indore sector with over 100 people onboard reportedly suffered an engine failure while cruising at 36,000 feet. The aircraft then made an emergency landing at its destination where it landed safely. The flight was cruising at an altitude of almost 11 km at a speed of about 840 km/h when the engine trouble happened midway on the 82-minute flight. The aircraft then descended and slowed down on its way to make an emergency landing at Indore. Twin engine aircraft like the Boeing 737 and Airbus A-320 can land with just a single engine or complete engine failure (if it is within reach of an airport).
