Man Traveling With Wife, Infant Asks For Seat In A Crowded Train, Beaten To Death By Passengers

the argument over a seat on a crowded train cost a man his life. The incident happened in the early hours of Thursday on the Mumbai-Latur-Beed Express, between Pune and Daund railway stations. Sagar Janardan Markad, had taken the train along with his wife, Jyoti, mother and two-year-old daughter to Kurduwadi. They were travelling in the general compartment and since the daughter had fallen asleep in Jyoti's arms, Sagar asked a woman who was seated if she could share the seat with his wife.
